The new extension holds an open-plan kitchen and dining space, lit by two electric Velux rooflights, with aluminium bifold doors opening the whole rear of the house onto the patio. The handleless gloss kitchen pairs a marble-effect island and breakfast bar with integrated appliances, set on herringbone flooring that runs throughout the ground floor.
The renovation carried the same finish through the original house, including the living room with its bay window and shutters, so the old and new spaces read as one seamless ground floor.
